Le Memoire!

Manila isn't just a busy buzzling city with tall buildings, night markets and overcrowded landmarks.
Somewhere in the landscape, it instills prehistoric memories! Looking back before modernization takes place, Manila is an ancient and very vintage-looking center of trade and industry in the country.

Hi, I'm Grace Joy, yout travel blogger and this is my trip to Intramuros, with friends! :)

Intramuros is a huge landscape full of different landmarks, schools and restaurants. So if you're a first timer or a regular visitor of the place, nothing is as great as a calesa ride as a roaming service around the historic place.

(Left to Right - Veronica, Grace, Janne, and Michael)

This is our very cutie calesa service, Piolo :)

These were my awesome co-wanderers around Intramuros!  During the ride, these are the following stop-overs that we've seen and been for awhile.

The famous Manila Cathedral which is obviously under renovation.
San Augustine Church

Hey it's me. :)

This church is so classy! Have you seen its doors? Oh, so vintage! Unfortunately, when we get there, the doors were closed obviously for the mass supposed to start at 5pm.

The San Diego Gardens with an entrance fee of P50. Not bad for the nature stuff inside the walls of Intramuros!
One the most visited area in the place. The famous Fort Santiago! By the way, it's the entrance of the area.
Galeria De Los Presedentes De La Republica Filipina (Gallery of the Presidents of the Philippines)

Selfie mode on the view! :)
After the very overwhelming calesa ride, this time we've found places with the cheapest transportation ever, W-A-L-K-I-N-G.

See where it takes us? Here in this really fantastic hotel in the walled city.

White Knight Hotel Intramuros is very classy and luxurious at the same time. The ambiance is so great and the view is, well what can I say?

Me and Janne. Welcome!

Oh so vintage!

Photo bomber Janne! Hahaha.
Beside me is a fountain. Really.

Want souvenirs! Here's one for you.

This very classy souvenir shop stores very affordable souvenir items!

After a long and tiring but overwhelming walkathon, it's a must to eat and enjoy any native dish around Intramuros.

Breaded Chicken Fillet on Bento meals. It's not your ordinary chicken fillet! At fifty-five(55) pesos only, it will satisfy the growl of your stomach. So, if you're looking for a shop that's affordable and savory, Nakamura Eatery is a perfect place for you!

So, that was it! My tour around Intramuros is over! It's a very new and fresh adventure I've experienced. If you're searching for a place to unwind, a nature to explore or just a new sight to unravel, then Intramuros exhibits them all! So the next time you'll visit it, try to see things with new eyes and in a fresh way so that you'll appreciate history and adventure in the oldest bricks and memoires of the ruins of the walled city!
